Maidstone Hospital Chaplaincy Services

Longpool

The Maidstone Hospital Chaplaincy is based at the Longpool Chapel, close to the main entrance to the hospital on the ground floor, opposite the League of Friends’ Oast Café and shop.

The Chaplaincy team offer multi-denominational practical, spiritual and emotional support, which is of course confidential.

The team are there to treat you with dignity and listen carefully. They will help you consider questions you may have about life, illness, death and bereavement.

The Chaplaincy team will help you find reassurance in times of uncertainty; helping you support your personal faith needs, and will if you wish contact faith communities on your behalf.

The Chaplaincy’s dedicated and experienced team of staff and volunteers help the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust to provide holistic care which considers the whole person, and not just their illness.

The Chaplaincy team is available for any patients, visitors or staff who may appreciate a listening ear.

If there is anything you would like to talk about in private, please ask for a Chaplain via your Ward Nursing Team, or by contacting the Chaplaincy Centre.
