Former milkman, Steve Young, first started hospital broadcasting back in the early 1990’s when he joined Bromley Network (Hospital) Radio. He moved to join us here at Maidstone a few years later.

He loves his music, particularly Fleetwood Mac and The Electric Light Orchestra. If he can’t see the real group, he enjoys concerts performed by some of the excellent “cover” bands – he swears they are almost as good as the real thing! 

For a number of years, Steve represented HRM with our disco unit, worked as our record librarian and then sadly left due to work commitments.

But good news, he is now back, bringing his own brand of humour and choice of music on a Monday afternoon!
