LUCY BARRETT & ZOE BORDER
One of the benefits of volunteering is the chance to make new friends and learn new skills. The Trust has many opportunities for you to volunteer and help towards the care of others less fortunate than yourselves.
Lucy decided to volunteer with HRM in 2001 followed by Zoe some six years later in 2007. Both presenting on a Thursday evening, they soon found they enjoyed a similar taste in music. A friendship developed so it was not long before their programmes merged.
