Darren began his enthusiasm for broadcasting at the age of 14 when he first volunteered at Hospital Radio Medway. With a couple of years volunteering with BBC Radio Kent and station manager for some of his 20 years at Medway, Darren eventually found his way to Maidstone in 2022.

With our excellent facilities at HRM, Darren enjoys working behind the scenes producing some of our amazing jingles and content for his programmes.

He likes his music lively so you can expect a fast paced show when he brings you “THE SATURDAY SANDWICH” and he’s our regularly presenter for “FRIDAY NIGHT ROCKS”.
